Kat A Korner Diner Reviews
One of my favorite breakfast spots in my home town! Service as fast & staff was friendly. Dining area was very clean. love their menu options!
Walking in you can tell it's a small town favorite, even the owner, Fred, was helping deliver food and cashing out customers. Our server, Desiree was friendly and polite. The wall decorations are unique and entertaining, you can't help but to chuckle reading the silly food nicknames. Our food took no time, since they make their own biscuits we opted for biscuits and gravy w/a side of bacon and eggs - no complaints! It honestly took us longer to get seating compared to waiting on our food! Thank you Fred & Desiree for such a pleasant first visit!
Eggcellent breakfast! Biscuits are amazingly huge and fluffy, then top with perfectly prepared sausage gravy for a delicious breakfast at the counter. Fills up for breakfast. they are one of the few who throw open the doors at 5am. Two or three egg omlete is very good filled with diced ham, side of those yummy biscuits and a big cold glass of milk. There is homemade pie which is a breakfast crown jewel in my book, the banana cream pie with a sturdy flavor filled crust and super creamy whipped cream made this a breakfast homerun. Find this local long established eatery. YUM!!! Quick service. Love this roadside stop with so much parking,
This place deserves more business. I heard it's for sale, which is heartbreaking. The atmosphere is nostalgic and fun. The restaurant is clean, and the food delicious! The original building burned down several years ago. I always get the country breakfast, which is cooked to perfection, plenty of food, and reasonably priced (still!). The building has a large room that would be great for parties or large gatherings, complete with a TV, fireplace (don't know if it is operational), and piano. I highly recommend this restaurant.
Portions are large. Beef Manhattan is especially good. Only thing that I have had that I didn't care for was the meat loaf.
